Wotlk 3.09 Resto Druid's Top Raid Consumables

Once again, all serious raiders should bring the best consumables to raid. This helps the individual perform better and is good for the raid group. Imagine the added consumable buff x10 or x25! It adds a great deal to the raid. The following is best consumables for a Resto Druid.

Flasks, Elixirs, Pots, Food

Flasks
Nowadays the best flask will always be better than 2 elixirs combined.
Flask of the Frost Wyrm
This is the best and staple flask of increased spell power. Always use this flask when mana regeneration is not an issue.
Flask of Pure Mojo
This flask provides mp5. It's a great beginning flask if your toon runs out of mana often in a boss fight even after using innervate. I've used this flask a few times while in blue gear in heroic Naxx, Eye of Eternity and Obsidian Sanctum (Sarth). Once you've obtained level 80 epics from heroic 5 mans and up, you'll find with some mana managing & due to raid synergy, Flask of the Frost Wyrm becomes a better choice.

Elixirs
Once again, flasks are now always the stronger choice. However situations change. Maybe you'd like to throw a little more during 5 mans or would like an extra boost in farmed Sartharion which takes no more than a hour, but don't need the whole duration of a flask. In this case here are the best 2 elixirs for a resto druid:
Spellpower Elixir (Battle Elixir)
The staple and always good increase in spellpower. Druid's top stats prority is Spellpower and Spirit.
Elixir of Spirit (Guardian Elixir)
Spirit is the primary stat for resto druid's mana regen. In addition resto druids again spellpower from spirit (15% of our spirit) due to our talents.

Potions
Runic Mana Potion
Basic 1 potion per fight used when mana is needed.

If mana regen is not an issue at all, then the following two are good options:
Potion of Speed
The benefit of Potion of Speed is when I weave in Nourish or Regrowth the haste significantly helps. Haste does reduce global cooldown even for instant cast spells but is capped at 1 second. It's great in situations where the boss is enraged and I have all hots rolling, but using nourish to provide extra heals.
Potion of Wild Magic
The benefit of Wild Magic is it gives 200 SP to all your spells, and is a good benefits on all spells casted, even instant cast hots. This may be a better option of the druid is already haste capped for instant cast hots, and does not need to use regrowth or nourish in that 15 seconds.

Food
Cuttlesteak
Provides spirit and some spellpower (15% of the spirit) due to druid talents. This is the best choice when it comes to progression raids where mana regen is needed.
Firecracker Salmon
On farmed raids or in situations where mana regen is not an issue, then raw spellpower is the way to go.
